Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Vellore, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

License

Vellore grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

In-App Purchases

Vellore offers the following purchases, all processed through Apple's App Store:

• Vellore Pro is a one-time, non-consumable lifetime upgrade that unlocks additional features. It can be restored on any device signed in with the same Apple Account.
• The Vellore Pro AI subscription is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly, that includes a monthly allotment of AI tokens. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• AI token packs are one-time, consumable purchases that add AI tokens to your balance. Consumable purchases are not restorable.

You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. All purchases are subject to Apple's refund policies, and current prices are shown in the app at the time of purchase.

Free Trial

Vellore may offer free trials, such as a limited number of complimentary AI actions or an introductory free period on the AI subscription. When a trial ends, continued use of the relevant paid features requires a purchase or an active subscription.

AI Features

Vellore's AI features generate suggestions and insights using third-party AI models (Google's Gemini, via Firebase). AI output is provided for personal reference and convenience only. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and must not be relied upon for appraisal, insurance, financial, or other important decisions. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-suggested information, such as watch specifications, before relying on it. Using the AI features requires sending certain data to Google, as described in our Privacy Policy.

iCloud Sync

Vellore uses Apple's iCloud to sync your data across devices. Use of iCloud is subject to Apple's terms and requires an active iCloud account with sufficient storage. We are not responsible for data loss due to iCloud service disruptions or account issues.

User Content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into Vellore, including watch information, photos, and logs. We do not claim any rights to your content. Your collection stays on your device and in your iCloud; it is never uploaded to us. The one exception is anything you choose to post in the Vellore Club, which is covered below.

The Vellore Club

The Vellore Club is an optional community inside the app where you can suggest features, vote on what others have suggested, report problems, and comment. Joining is not required to use Vellore.

You join with Sign in with Apple and choose a display name. We never receive your real name or your email address. Your display name, your posts, and your comments are visible to other members; nothing else about you is. Your watch collection is not part of the Club and is not visible to anyone.

You must be at least 13 years old to join the Club.

Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content and Abusive Behaviour

Vellore has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive members. The following are prohibited in the Club and will result in content being removed and the account being suspended or permanently removed:

• content that is offensive, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, sexual, or otherwise objectionable;
• harassing, bullying, or abusing another member in any form;
• content that infringes anyone's intellectual property rights;
• impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your connection to one;
• spam, solicitation, or unsolicited commercial content;
• content that breaks any applicable law.

We may remove any content and suspend or terminate any account, at our discretion and without notice, for conduct we believe breaks these terms or harms the community.

Reporting and Blocking

If you see something that breaks these terms, report it from inside the app: open the menu on the request or comment and choose to report it, then pick the reason. Every report is reviewed, and we act on it, which may mean removing the content and suspending or removing the account responsible.

You can also block any member from the same menu. Blocking hides their content from you immediately, and you can see and undo your blocks in your Club account screen. You can reach us at info@vellorewatch.com about anything a report does not cover.

Your Content in the Club

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting in the Club you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content within Vellore. We do not sell it to anyone. Deleting your Club account removes your display name and your account; posts and comments may remain in an anonymised form so that discussions other members took part in stay readable.

Usage Statistics

Vellore collects a small set of statistics about how much you use the app, so that we can see what is worth building and improving. This happens whether or not you join the Club; if you do join, the statistics are filed against your Club account, including those collected before you joined. It is a set of counts. It never includes your watches, your photos, your notes, anything you typed into an AI feature, or anything you searched for, and it is never sold, shared, or used for advertising.

You can switch this off at any time in Settings, under About, and switching it off also deletes the statistics already collected. Deleting your Club account deletes them too. Exactly what is collected is listed in the app next to that switch, and in our Privacy Policy.

Suspension and Account Removal

We may suspend or permanently remove your Club account for breaking these terms. You can delete your Club account yourself at any time from the Club account screen in the app. Deleting your Club account does not affect the app itself, your purchases, or your collection, all of which stay on your device.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the App:

• for any unlawful purpose;
• to attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App or its infrastructure;
• to introduce malicious code, viruses, or harmful data;
• to infringe on the rights of others, including intellectual property rights;
• to harass, abuse, defame, or otherwise harm others.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the App if you violate these rules.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in and to the App (including source code, design, graphics, and content) remain the property of the Developer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App as provided under these Terms.

Disclaimer

Vellore is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. Watch values, service intervals, and other information displayed in the app are for personal reference only and should not be relied upon for insurance, appraisal, or financial decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of Vellore shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to data loss.

Termination

We reserve the right to discontinue the app at any time. Your purchased Pro features will remain functional on installed versions.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal.
